Christine Bovill sings PIAF
The award winning singer songwriter acknowledges a wide range of influences which
have helped her evolve into a world class singer.
Part folk rock, part jazz, she
is a beguiling performer from whom audiences have come to expect warm and wonderful
things. Her voice that has been described as “as a sonic combination of cigarettes
and dark chocolate”
During this acclaimed PIAF performance Christine will welcome
you into a Parisian scented twilight world with a beautiful mix of sounds. She loving
bathes in tones of dark velvet, the sounds of Montmartre.
Focusing almost exclusively
on the music, the show provides an insight into the essence of Edith Piaf. PIAF
is a powerful musical homage to the much-revered French star.
