On October 12 we were thrown a lifeline by receiving one of the Governments Culture Recovery Grants, this is the first time we have ever received any grant/funding in the 10 years of operating as we usually have to rely on our wonderful audiences who buy tickets to see the shows and our supportive theatre friends that make donations.

It has been over 7 months since we were forced to close the doors which has meant receiving no income and as we fell through the cracks of all the Governments financial support schemes the future looked very bleak and a tough decision to close the doors for good in December was on the cards, so receiving this money has really saved us!

In September the theatre would have celebrated 10 years of being open and all plans to celebrate our first decade with a special season of shows were shelved due to lockdown, but, I am happy to say those plans are back on and even though they may be a bit late, they will now happen in 2021! Watch this space!

Thank you for your continued support and a BIG Thank You to all those of you who came to our outdoor Alfresco season in September – it’s amazing what you can do in a school yard!  And a special Thank You to all those who have kindly donated over our period of closure.

We kept our light burning in the hope we would return and now we will and can’t wait to re-open the doors and welcome you all back to enjoy what we have all really missed, LIVE THEATRE!

Stay safe and well and see you all very soon!

Best Wishes
