WATERLOO EAST THEATRE
Tues 14 Sept 2021
Forgotten Heroes of Comedy
written and presented by Robert Ross

In a project over twenty years in the making, in his latest book comedy historian Robert Ross celebrates those Forgotten Heroes of Comedy.
This live show, stuffed with hilarious and obscure clips, salutes these unfairly neglected legends from the worlds of silent Hollywood screens, variety theatres and television situation comedies.
In tandem with Waterloo East Theatre’s staging of Screaming Queens! and Jeepers Creepers, this is a specially horror-themed presentation of the show, blowing the cobwebs of archive treasures that go bump in the night in their search for a chuckle.
Be warned, you may just laugh your head off!
‘Robert is an invaluable comedy historian and an all round good chap.’ Bill Oddie OBE
